AUSTRALIAN INVASION! - THE VANISH

Tanto cut copy, midnight juggernauts y empire of the sun son parte de la avanzada australiana sobre el electro. Esta puerta, casi sin querer fue abierta por la edicion del que fuera el disco del año por estos lares -mgmt-, con un sonido electro, a pesar de ser en si una banda rockera, new hippie sick (ja).
Desde una de las islas mas grandes del mundo, la movida se agranda y nos entrega nuevas producciones.
Aquiesta The Vanish, puede ser mas de lo mismo -sintes, coros, bases marcadas- o puede ser una nueva versino retro 80 pop, algo casi entre flasha nd the pan y a flock of seaguls, pero reloaded.
Tambien este track huele un poco a fred falke (productor ingles que me gusa y mucho), pero lo que no podemos negar es que suena de pelos y ademas, en caso de ahaber espacio, tendria alto broadcasting en nuestro pais.

Un músico israelí lanzó un álbum audiovisual usando sólo YouTube como instrumento


El video que pueden ver acá es "The Mother of all Funk Chords" y forma parte de THRU YOU, el proyecto del músico israelí Kutiman, quien tomó cientos de samples de YouTube y construyó siete temas-videos. Se trata de siete verdaderos mashups, no sólo a nivel musical sino también visual, que conforman una suerte de álbum multimedia.

A la originalidad del método de producción (utilizar YouTube como un instrumento que es, además, gratuito) se le suma la forma revolucionaria de distribución: a pesar de constituir temas y videos inéditos, cualquiera puede tener acceso a ellos y no sólo eso: también embeberlos y compartirlos sin restricciones.
